The Mission of the Bucks County Human Relations Council

The Bucks County Human Relations Council is dedicated to promoting the value of diversity and addressing discrimination based on age, race, color, gender, religion, creed, culture, socioeconomic status, sexual orientation, ancestry, national origin and disability.

In 1996 the Bucks County Commissioners created the Bucks County Human Relations Council and charged it with the task of addressing discrimination in Bucks County.  This is a non-profit council, consisting of volunteer community members representing the diversity of Bucks County.

We provide resources to those who believe they have been discriminated against or who may have been the victim of a hate crime and we work with other area organizations to facilitate programs and events that promote positive community relations and appreciation of our diversity.
